Netflix's latest K-drama series, Squid Game, has been trending all over the world in the US. According to Netflix, Squid Game is set to become its most popular series ever, surpassing Bridgerton.

WILL THERE BE A PART TWO?

Our director or who is in charge hasn't said anything if they'd be a new season for the game.

"I don't have well-developed plans for Squid Game 2," The show's writer and director, Hwang Dong-hyuk told Variety. "It is quite tiring just thinking about it.

"But if I were to do it, I would certainly not do it alone. I'd consider using a writers' room and would want multiple experienced directors."

"I wanted to write a story that was an allegory or fable about modern capitalist society, something that depicts an extreme competition, somewhat like the extreme competition of life," he explained.

"But I wanted it to use the kind of characters we've all met in real life. As a survival game, it is entertainment and human drama.

"The games portrayed are extremely simple and easy to understand. That allows viewers to focus on the characters, rather than being distracted by trying to interpret the rules."

Writer and Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said “It took me six months to write and rewrite the first two episodes [of Season 1],” he told Variety.

In my own opinion and what I've read if they would be a season 2, it may not arrive until late 2023 because It's not on my mind to make another season according to the director. we'll stay on the lookout and keep you updated with the latest. { Squid Game" Season 2 }
